This is David getting ready to marry Shannon yesterday. They got married, and it was a pretty awesome day. I had a fab time, and I’m pretty sure they did too.

This might be my favourite part though: the getting ready. The anticipation and deep breaths. The last moments of looking forward to a day that you’ve thought about a million times before. But this will be the last time – the last time you’ll rehearse what you’re supposed to do; the last time you’ll worry that you’ll somehow mess it up; the last time you’ll wonder what you’ll feel when you’re there at the end of the aisle. Then it’s happening.
