This post was promised yesterday and I hope it was worth the extra little wait!
Deanna and Craig welcomed me into their Waterloo home this past weekend and I had the honour of doing some photos for them to capture Deanna’s belly! I had never done a maternity photo shoot before, but Deanna and Craig were great and came with lots of ideas and didn’t even mind the fact that I came with some ideas of my own, written down on a sheet of paper so I wouldn’t forget anything! We started out taking pictures in their home, and I found a window in the baby’s room that let in some incredible light…we started with some shots just of Deanna – with Craig standing by to help move furniture, of course! On the way over to their place, I had pulled into a Walmart to buy a measuring tape for a few shots…and Deanna had this great idea to spell out “baby Jacobs” using scrabble letters on her belly…we also got one of Deanna’s favourite foods involved too – and Craig didn’t mind sharing either!
The outdoor shots were taken in the town of Wellesley, where the trees were bare and the snow untouched, which created some pretty magical scenes to shoot in as well!

Deanna & Craig – I had a wonderful time with you guys! Thanks for making it so easy and for all your awesome ideas. Hope you enjoy the photos and you’ll have to keep me updated with any baby-related news!! Can’t wait to meet baby Jacobs soon!
